Four men who turned up at a house in Yarmouth and threatened to burn it down were each sentenced to two years in custody yesterday.
The gang, some of whom were armed with a hammer, an axe and a golf club, visited a house in Lancaster Road on December 8.
Ian James, prosecuting at Norwich Crown Court, said: “This was a premeditated visit to a private house and some of them were armed and involved the intruders becoming involved in violence.”
A woman, one of 10 people in the house at the time, had heard one of the men shout “we must burn her down”.
She was struck in the face and lost consciousness, although the court heard there was no evidence that weapons were used to cause injuries.
Nreijus Lekecinskas, 30, of Nelson Road north, Yarmouth, Rafal Krowinski, 24, and Arenius Leonavas, 20, both of Wellesley Road, Yarmouth, were each jailed for two years after admitting affray.
Vyrautas Solovhjovas, 18, of Nelson Road South, who also pleaded guilty to affray, was sentenced to two years in a young offenders institution.
A fifth man, Evaidas Buchoveckas, 21, of Nelson Road North, admitted using threatening behaviour and was given 240 hours unpaid work in the community.
