Arrests follow woman's injuries

SIX people have been bailed by police pending further enquiries after a woman was left with serious head injuries following an incident in Gorleston last Wednesday.

SIX people have been bailed by police pending further enquiries after a woman was left with serious head injuries following an incident in Gorleston last Wednesday.

The 49-year-old woman suffered the injuries at a property in Exeter Road and was taken to the James Paget University Hospital.

She was then transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where her condition was described as critical.

Following the incident, police arrested and questioned three men and three women, who have now been bailed.
