Police have arrested two teenagers after a village school was vandalised.

Rollesby Primary and Nursery School was forced to close yesterday after its exterior was covered by rude drawings and lewd images over the weekend.

A statement from Norfolk police said: “Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an incident which happened at Rollesby Primary School at the weekend.

“At some point on Sunday, November 5 the school has been defaced with foul and abusive drawings and words. A rear door was also forced causing damage to the lock.

“A 16 and 17 year old, both from the Great Yarmouth area, were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to Great Yarmouth PIC for questioning where they remain.”

More than 20 members of staff cleaned up the images and drawings yesterday.
