Two separate arson attempts are being investigated, including one inside a home.

The two incidents happened in Gorleston in the early hours of Saturday, September 22.

The first happened around 12.30am where the front window of an address in High Road in the town was smashed and the internal blinds were set on fire. No one was injured and the fire was quickly extinguished.

The second occurred around 12.45am, where police were called by Norfolk Fire and Rescue to reports of a vehicle on fire in Pine Green in Gorleston. No one was injured.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding both incidents, however they are not thought to be linked at this stage.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the areas or anyone with information should contact Det Con Gavin Rivett at Great Yarmouth CID on 101. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
