STAFF from Asda took part in a variety of fundraising events to raise cash for Children in Need.
Many workers left their uniforms at home and wore fancy dress outfits such as cowboys and Indians and pirates. A sponsored head shave, bath of beans, tombola and a row-athon ensured collection buckets were full and so far more than £825 has been raised.
Lauren England, store events co-ordinator, said: “This was a fantastic day and everyone was enjoying themselves. The customers were very generous and we would like to thank everyone who donated.”
