Police are still seeking witnesses after an Asian youth was verbally abused and attacked in Great Yarmouth on May 20.The 17-year-old was at the Wellesley Road Recreation Ground at about 7pm when he was approached by a gang of youths.
Police are still seeking witnesses after an Asian youth was verbally abused and attacked in Great Yarmouth on May 20.
The 17-year-old was at the Wellesley Road Recreation Ground at about 7pm when he was approached by a gang of youths.
After verbally abusing him, one of the group punched the victim in the face causing him to fall to the ground.
The Asian youth suffered a split lip, bruising and an injured tooth as a result of the assault.
The youth believed to have carried out the attack was aged about 15, five ft 2in with a slim build and had a freckles and spiky brown hair. He was wearing grey track suit bottoms and a blur T-shirt with the logo carbrain.
