An intruder removed the entrance gate from its hinges after forcing a padlock and tried to tamper with a door lock and to cut its hinges.
A rear window was also smashed but no entry was gained to the building in Jellicoe Road. It is the latest criminal incident at the centre, which was recently damaged in an arson attack.
