If you are interested in the NHS and have recent financial experience, then the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston would like to hear from you.

The Gorleston hospital’s board of directors is looking for a chairman of its audit committee.

The role requires a commitment of a minimum of three days each month over the next three years and is said to be an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to the healthcare of the local community and to help shape the way the hospital uses its financial resources.

Anna Davidson, hospital trust chairman, said: “We are really proud of the work our staff do to provide services for our patients, their carers and families, but there is always more that can be done. We want to keep on improving, embracing innovative working and providing services differently to meet the challenges of a growing population in tight financial times.”
