Wayward girls desperately seeking an older man to keep them in line have finally found their man.

As previously reported the all-female cast of Great Yarmouth College's production of the women's prison musical Bad Girls were panicking because they could not find a man to play the role of brutal prison officer Jim Fenner.

As previously reported in the EDP, the all-female cast of Great Yarmouth College's production of the women's prison musical Bad Girls were panicking because they could not find a man to play the role of brutal prison officer Jim Fenner.

But they are celebrating after local actor Chris Darnell stepped in to play the part.

Mr Darnell has now started to rehearse with the girls for the three-night run starting on June 17 at the Hippodrome Circus.

The show is mainly being performed by the college's second year BTEC national diploma performing arts students.

Bad Girls runs from Thursday, June 17, to Saturday, June 19 at 7.30pm nightly. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions The show is not suitable for children.
