An alternative model has taken part in a competition.
Katherine Nicholls, 22, of Station Road North in Belton, went to Manchester for the Alternative Model Of The Year 2017 contest.
The actress, radio presenter and florist said she had been involved in alternative modelling for several years locally and in Scotland.
This year she was a catwalk finalist in the competition.
Miss Nicholls said: “I did not expect to get through so was absolutely delighted. It’s such a big scene, there’s so many different types of people.”
The young model has also appeared in an online TV series about Great Yarmouth and said she is likes showing “alternatives” in a good light.
She added: “I appeared in the second series and enjoyed myself enormously, I am happy to say I will be appearing again as a different character.
“I have appeared in several local productions and even on a London stage. I adore acting so am thrilled to be given the opportunity.”
