A clinic offering compassionate and non-judgmental support for the bereaved has opened at the Central Healthcare Centre in Gorleston.

Bereavement service, The Purple Rose Life Foundation, are operating the clinic as part of their overarching aim to help those struggling with the loss of a loved one.

The foundation, which is based in the town and was established in 2016, aims to assist all members of the community and also provides support over the phone, on an online chat forum and through regular coffee mornings

In September of last year, £10,000 of lottery funding was granted to the foundation, which is now aiming to acquire trustees and begin the process of acquiring charitable status.

The bereavement clinics are held from 10am to 1pm on Thursday, though appointments can also be arranged.
