ONE of the UK's oldest riders from Ludham will be taking additional training to improve his skills at the start of a six month campaign.
The Think! Norfolk partnership hopes to prove age and experience are not barriers to improving motorcycle skills at the start of this year's Hugger challenge.
The event will involve 93-year-old Reg Scott from Ludham, who rides a Hondo CBF600, taking additional training to improve his skills and experiences on the road.
Commenting on taking part in the challenge, Mr Scott said: “I am really pleased to help launch this year's campaign by taking part in the Hugger challenge.
“Anything that improves the safety of motorcyclists, including myself, on Norfolk's roads has to be welcomed and I would encourage everyone to take this opportunity to help themselves.”
The launch will take place at CJ Ball, Woodlands, Salhouse Road, Norwich at 11am.
