FILBY is celebrating yet another floral success after it was chosen to represent the Anglian region in next year's Britain in Bloom contest. Filby will be entered in the best kept village with a population of fewer than 1,000 section - in which they came second this year.

Bob Hollier, chairman of Anglia in Bloom, has boosted Filby's chance for 2009 by becoming a mentor for the village's flower-filled campaign.
