POLICE have confirmed that a body recovered from the sea yesterday off the coast at Mundesley was that of missing Norwich student Motar Abudeeb.
The body was recovered by a crew of a nearby support ship from an offshore gas terminal 20 miles off the coast at about 3.30pm.
Next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
Motar, 19, went missing after the dinghy he was in with his 15-year-old brother overturned in high winds off Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth on Sunday, June 15.
His brother managed to get to shore safely and was taken to hospital.
