DESTINATION Growth - the East of England's biggest business and networking event - returns this year on Tuesday, November 3, offering companies the opportunity to find out how to survive and thrive in the current economic climate.

Following its massive success in 2007, this year's event promises to be even bigger with 1,000 ambitious business leaders, of small and medium-sized companies, invited to AirSpace Duxford for the East of England Development Agency's (EEDA) biennial event.

Delegates will hear from high-profile speakers Greg Dyke, former director general of the BBC; Michelle Mone, co-founder of MJM International and creator of Ultimo lingerie; and Scott Garrett, former commercial director of Williams F1.

They can also create a fully tailored programme for their day to meet individual needs, choosing from workshops, seminars, networking opportunities with hundreds of like-minded business leaders and the unique experience of one-to-one meetings with world-class business experts under Concorde!

The event focuses on today's most pertinent business issues - like financing your business, sales and marketing, leadership and innovation. From “how to innovate your way out of a recession” - a seminar led by innovation guru Max McKeown, to “maximising the opportunities of climate change” with innocent drinks' head of sustainability Jessica Sansom.

Interactive workshops on maximising your business' profile in the press, advice on creating an award-winning brand by Hotel Chocolat's Angus Thirlwell and a master-class on “gorilla marketing” by the chief gorilla at adventure leisure retreat Go Ape! are amongst the 30 different options available to delegates on the day.

This year's all-day event will be held at AirSpace Duxford in Cambridgeshire and will begin with registration from 8.30am. Seminars are selling out fast, so business leaders are urged to register now for Destination Growth '09 at www.eeda.org.uk/destinationgrowth. Destination Growth costs 75 to attend.

Destination Growth is aimed exclusively at senior decision makers from small to medium-sized businesses in the East of England - companies with a turnover of over 250,000 and less than 250 employees.
