FLAMBOYANT Boy George is to appear at the Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth in November as part of a 29-day UK tour.

It coincides with the release of his latest single Yes We Can and the 47-year-old singer, famous for his painted face and outrageous stage costumes will be featuring many of the hits he recorded with Culture Club and as a solo artist.

Church Of The Poison Mind, Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? and probably the band's most famous song, Karma Chameleon, gained massive chart successes in the 1980s.

Following on from the huge success of his last tour, Boy George returns to the stage with his new show, The Boy is Back in Town, and appears at the Britannia Pier on November 1.

Boy George's life has been played out in spectacular public style since his meteoric rise to international stardom in 1982.

His band Culture Club brought his inimitable style and soulful voice to the attention of audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. As the front man of a band that mixed new wave and his own blue-eyed soul with rock and reggae, Boy George took centre stage with his wild outfits and elaborate makeup.
