Boy rescues puppy from river

A BOY rescued a stricken puppy from the River Yare close to Havenbridge House in Great Yarmouth this morning.The youngster was a passer-by when the husky puppy jumped over the river wall close to the offices of Lovewell Blake in North Quay.

The youngster was a passer-by when the husky puppy jumped over the river wall close to the offices of Lovewell Blake in North Quay.

The dog had got away from its owner and jumped in the river at 10am.
