BRADLEY Bear, the mascot from Hopton Holiday Village went back to school last week with his Safer Neighbourhood Team at Hopton Primary School. Children listened to Pc Terry Gowing and PCSO Dave Nickerson as they went through the green cross code and how to cross the road safely.
Bradley also reminded the children to tell their parents about Halloween and the need for their parents to go with them if knocking on any doors of friends. The children and the officers thoroughly enjoyed the worthwhile experience and finished the morning session with a photograph of them and Bradley Bear.
Bradley and the officers then left heading for Belton where they were meeting another group of children keen to learn about how to cross the road safely.
