A NEWLY-formed children's group providing physical activities for children to help them get active could have to be cancelled because of a lack of support.
The Bouncing Beans and Jumping Jacks groups have only been running since September at Bradwell Community Centre, but only two youngsters are currently attending.
The Bouncing Beans session is held at the centre between 9.15am and 10.15am on Thursdays and is aimed at children aged up to two years, while the Jumping Jacks group is for children aged between two and four years between 10.45am and noon on Thursdays.
The classes are run by the Village Green Sure Start Children's Centre in Belton.
Tina Batley, a family support worker at the centre, said the groups aimed to prevent childhood obesity, diabetes and other medical conditions by providing children with physical activities to help them maintain healthy lives.
All children receive a drink and healthy snack at each session.
