Around 80 senior citizens from the Bradwell area were invited to Hillside Primary School to see the children's Christmas production.

The audience was said to be enthralled by the children's delightful performance and full of praise for the hard-work of the staff of the school, which Christine Bryant, headteacher, endorsed.

After the performance mince pies, tea and coffee were enjoyed by all.

Hillside's school choir has also been busy taking part in other events. Last week the Well Being Group of Browston invited the school choir to their meeting to sing carols and Christmas songs. The children enjoyed performing and the members were impressed with the high standard of singing and deportment. Next week the choir will be singing at the Cherry Road housing complex.

A special thank-you must go to Mrs Rust and Mrs Park who train the school choir.
