Officers from the Bradwell Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are appealing for volunteers to take part in a Speed Watch scheme.
Local people will get the chance to find out more about the scheme at a meeting on Tuesday, January 19, at the Green Lane Pavilion at 6pm.
Police Community Support Officer Mark Brown said: “This meeting will give people the chance to raise issues they may have about the scheme and is an opportunity for volunteers to step forward.”
The scheme, set up in response to community concerns, currently has 18 volunteers and will target areas such as Mill Lane and Lords Lane. Volunteers will also be encouraged to inform police of speeding hotspots.
