Great Yarmouth fashion shop with more than 60 years in the town shuts

A famous fashion name looks to be disappearing from Great Yarmouth after 60 years of doing business in the town.
Brahams, in Market Row, has shut its doors for good, according to signage on the shop front.
The shop has been in the town since 1958, when Leslie and Faye Brahams opened the first store in King Street.
But tough conditions on the high street appear to have brought an end to its long run.
It has been running a closing down sale for the last week, but the famous Brahams name has now been taken down from the shop front.
The store had been set to close in 2015 when owner Margaret King retired.
The shop has since been run as Judith Fisher at Brahams.
Mrs King had worked in partnership with Mrs Brahams since the 1980s, trading as Braham’s Fashions in the Market Row store.
Speaking 2015, she said: ““We have always tried to do something a little bit different because we are independent buyers,”
“And this is very personal shop, the customers are like friends really. Around 90pc of the people who come in are known to us, they sometimes send us flowers and we offer them coffee.
She added: “Mrs Brahams told me you will know when to finish when you do not like it anymore, so I think I could have gone on forever.”
