A WEDDING is always an occasion to treasure, but when her mum and dad got married it was just that little bit more special for Paris Howell.

At first glance, Paris seems just like any other vivacious five-year old, but the brave Bradwell girl, faces the daunting prospect of a heart and lung transplant.

Looking pretty as a picture in her bridesmaid's dress at mum Dawn and dad Jason's wedding it was hard to believe that Paris has already undergone a series of lifesaving operations.

Dawn, who works as senior team trainer at the Rainbow store in Bradwell and police constable Jason' tied the knot in Florida, the couple's favourite holiday destination.

Sisters Olivia, 15, and Chelsie, 11, joined Paris as bridesmaids with two year old brother Samuel pageboy.

Paris was unwell during the trip but had recovered in time for the wedding, which took place at Cypress Grove Garden in Orlando. While in the sunshine state she also enjoyed meeting some famous cartoon characters at the famous Disney World theme park.
