A FISH and chip shop in Great Yarmouth was broken into during an attempted burglary earlier this month.

The break-in happened on Sunday, September 19, at PJ’s Fish and Chip Shop on Main Cross Road at about 5.40am.

A male suspect smashed the bottom glass panel of the front door to gain access to the shop.

The man, described as 5ft 10, of slim build and wearing a black hooded top, made a search of the counter before making off.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed a man acting suspiciously in the area around the time stated.
