Brick thrown through Audi window in Gorleston

PUBLISHED: 18:45 03 May 2012

POLICE are trying to trace a man after a brick was thrown through the back window of an Audi in Gorleston.

The car was parked at the back of homes at Queens Crescent at around 1.30am on Monday.

The man is described as having very short or balding hair, wearing a dark coloured coat and light coloured trousers and was seen running away from the car, which was left in the alleyway that runs from Queens Crescent to Pound Lane.

Police believe the incident may be linked to a similar crime that happened in Middleton Road in Gorleston around 1.10am. A resident was woken by a thud followed by a car alarm going off and looked out to see the back window of his car had been smashed.

Anyone with information should call PC Linzi Clarke at Gorleston on 101.
