RE-PAINTING work will begin on the bridge at St Olaves on Monday . The Grade II listed bridge over the River Waveney, constructed in 1847, is to be repainted to protect the bridge by minimising corrosion of the structural steel deck and cast iron arches.
RE-PAINTING work will begin on the bridge at St Olaves on Monday .
The Grade II listed bridge over the River Waveney, constructed in 1847, is to be repainted to protect the bridge by minimising corrosion of the structural steel deck and cast iron arches.
The work, costing £160,000, is expected to take around 12 weeks to complete and traffic flow will be maintained as usual.
