A BROWNIE group has benefited from the fundraising campaigns of a local shop which raised more than 750 for the girls.
Staff at Bradwell Co-operative Rainbow foodstore held dress-down days and in-store bag packing to generate 500.
The cash collected at the Burgh Road store comes in addition to the 252 they raised during the Pick Up a Penny campaign which ended in June.
All the funds will be donated to the 3rd Belton Brownies.
Graham Clegg, store manager, said: “They are a very active part of our community. They provide great activities for the youngsters and we’re delighted we’ve been able to give them such a help.”
