Stuart Lugo, branch manager of Howards in Gorleston, said: “It hasn’t sold because it is a small property, really I think most suitable for one person and you can’t live in it all the year around, but from April to October or, if you pay £320 a month, you can live in it from April until January.

“I believe it would be ideal for someone who lives abroad for the winter months and who just needs a base in Norfolk for the summer.”

The house has one bedroom, measuring 9’5 x 8’8, a sitting room, measuring 9’2 x 8’2, a kitchen area and a bathroom and comes with communal parking and gardens.

It is for sale with no chain with Howards.

Inside, the photographs show there is a little Christmas tree and cards up from when it first went on the market just before festivities in 2011.

The house comes with the use of an outdoor heated swimming pool in the summer months as well as other communal facilities at Burgh Hall, a popular wedding venue, such as a lounge bar and restaurant.

You do have to pay £699 in annual charges said to be for ‘water and sewage’ but you will get a 50 per cent discount on your council tax.
