A MAN who burgled at house in Caister has been jailed for more than two years.

Kevin Page, of Finisterre Rise, Caister, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to burglary.

The charge related to an incident on May 17 when police were called to Finisterre Rise, after a resident reported someone acting suspiciously.

Officers arrived on scene to find a house had been broken into after the rear patio doors had been forced. An untidy search had been made of the property and items had been bagged up near the door. Page, 28, was found in the house by police and arrested at the scene.

Page also admitted being in breach of an unpaid work order and was sentenced to a total of two years and 12 weeks imprisonment.
