DETECTIVES are appealing for information after raiders stole electrical goods and a convertible car from an address in Gorleston.

The thieves are believed to have broken into the Clarence Road property some time between 8am last Saturday and Wednesday.

After carrying out a search they left with electrical items including, a Sony Bravia 32in television, a Playstation 2 console and games, a Playstation 3 console and games, a WII console and related property, a karaoke machine and a Compaq Presario laptop.

They also stole a 12ft by 10ft plain cream fluffy rug, two red wine coloured cushions with gold tassels and gold angel patterns and a quantity of rectangular dark maroon table mats with a gold design.

The thieves then took a black Ford Focus convertible car - registration AO09BZJ - from outside.

Officers believe at least two people must have been involved in the raid bearing in mind the number of goods stolen.

They would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or anyone who may have seen the car since or been offered such goods for sale in suspicious circumstances.
