Police are investigating a number of burglaries at business premises over the weekend.

In the Caister Local Chat Facebook page, numerous people reported suspicious activity on Saturday night.

One member posted on Sunday at around 1pm, claiming a charity shop was among those targeted.

He said: “Some serious, blatant crime throughout the night here, social club, two of the fish frys in main village, charity shop, bakers and takeaways were burgled, also houses I have heard.

“Keep vigilant, lock up, tighten security!”

Enquiries are ongoing and police are unable to provide more details at this time.
