A Norfolk business has celebrated its 50th birthday by raising nearly £3,600 for a local charity!
Rollesby based Becks Motorhomes organised a special celebratory weekend at Great Yarmouth racecourse for its customers, which also raised funds for The Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind and in particular its YoungEyes group which supports visually impaired children. Events over the weekend included quizzes, disco, tug-of-war, live music, motorhome reversing competition and a lot more.
“We wanted to come up with a fun event to mark this major milestone which gave all our customers the opportunity to take part and meet each other – but we also wanted to support the great work the NNAB does, especially for young people,” said Becks Motorhomes founder Don Beck. “We would like to thank our customers for being so generous and we know all the money will go to help visually impaired children in the county. We hope to continue to support this great charity and the fantastic job it does.”
Mike Talbot of the NNAB said: “We pride ourselves on being very much a family charity, and it’s great to have ties with such a successful family business.”
