The Gorleston NatWest branch closes on June 6 next year, with the bank saying only 68 customers visit it on a daily basis.
The closure of the bank in the High Street affects three members of staff.
A spokeswoman for the branch said: “Since 2012 we have seen the way in which people use NatWest Gorleston branch change dramatically, with now 86pc of customers already banking in other ways locally.
“Transactions in the branch have reduced by 4pc since 2012 with now only 68 customers visiting the branch on a weekly basis. Fifty-nine per cent of customers are now choosing to bank digitally with us on a regular basis instead.”
The closure, which has been described by NatWest as “difficult” has been announced giving six months notice “so we can ensure our customers have enough time to consider the right banking options for them and to give us time to support them one-to-one during the transition.
“We are communicating with our customers affected by the closure and proactively contacting vulnerable customers and regular branch users.”
A new specialist taskforce of NatWest TechXperts will be dedicated to supporting customers with training and support with digital skills until the branch closes.
The nearest branch, Great Yarmouth Market Place, is 2.6 miles away.
Earlier this week Lloyds Bank announced they would be closing branches in Acle, Bungay, Halesworth and Southwold.
