BZZZZZ…Youngsters at the Busy Bees Day Nursery in Great Yarmouth dressed up as bumble bees for the day, along with other Busy Bees nurseries across the UK and broke the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as bumble bees.

The new world record was set at 1,901, smashing the previous record of 200! To set the record, staff and children from over 100 Busy Bees nurseries across the country wore wings, antennae, and black and yellow stripes.

Everyone who took part donated £1 to raise money for Busy Bees Corporate Charity for 2009, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Nursery manager, Rebecca Batley, said: “We all had great fun, and it was lovely to see how much effort had been put into the costumes.”
