THE Busy Bees nursery based at the James Paget University Hospital held a quiz night to raise money for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The trust is the Busy Bees groups sponsored charity for 2009, and gives support and advice to those suffering from the condition. The charity also holds support groups to help families cope with the affects.

On the night, eight teams put their heads together to answer questions on general knowledge, music, science and many more. A raffle was held to win great prizes donated by parents and 90 was raised.

Assistant manager, Rebecca Batley, said: “Cystic Fibrosis affects many people in the UK and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust does a great job of giving help and support to those people suffering from the disease. As one of our members of staff suffers from the condition, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a charity close to our hearts and all of us at the nursery are glad we are able to raise money for such a worthy charity.”
