PEOPLE living in Caister on Sea and the surrounding areas are being advised to keep their doors and windows closed as emergency services deal with a chemical fire in the town.
Police were called just before 3pm today (Tuesday) to reports of a fire at the Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club. It is unclear at this stage what chemicals are involved.
The wind is currently moving in a north-north westerly direction and therefore police are advising people living in Caister and towards Scratby to keep doors and windows closed for the time being.
Emergency services are at the scene assessing the situation.
