DOG walkers are being urged to be extra vigilant and keep their pets on a lead after a spate of mysterious fox deaths.
An investigation has been launched by Natural England to find out the truth behind the events that have lead to the bodies being discovered around the Caister beach area.
Heather Duncan, a spokesperson for the organisation, said: “I would like to advise that if any dog walkers come across the body of a dead fox they should leave it in place, not touch it and call our helpline.”
Anyone with information about the dead foxes should phone the Natural England Hotline on 0800321600.
