DISTINCTIVE jewellery of great sentimental value was stolen in a daytime burglary at a home in Buildings Road, Caister.The offender forced entry to a rear window and made an untidy search of the property taking a Toshiba laptop computer, a Sony camcorder and a large quantity of jewellery, including a ring with three parallel sapphires, a ring with a diamond centre and five sapphires, a man's curb necklace, a necklace with an eagle's claw pendant, a child's St Christopher necklace and a diamond crucifix.

The offender forced entry to a rear window and made an untidy search of the property taking a Toshiba laptop computer, a Sony camcorder and a large quantity of jewellery, including a ring with three parallel sapphires, a ring with a diamond centre and five sapphires, a man's curb necklace, a necklace with an eagle's claw pendant, a child's St Christopher necklace and a diamond crucifix.

The incident occurred between 11.45am and 1.30pm on Monday.

Police are keen to speak to any members of the public who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area between the times stated or from anyone who has information in relation to the offender or the property stolen.
