A man has died after he became trapped under a vehicle in Caister.

Police were called to Bultitudes Loke on Monday following reports a man had become trapped underneath a vehicle.

The man, who is local, was taken to the James Paget University Hospital where he later died.

Norfolk police said the Health and Safety Executive and local council have been notified and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Norfolk and Fire Rescue Service sent three engines to help deal with incident, which was reported to police at 10.50am.
