THE Ipswich Office of national business agents, Christie and Co, has sold the leasehold interest of Winifred Way Premier Store in Caister-on-Sea.

It has been sold on behalf of Graham Barney, who had owned and operated the business for nine years, to an experienced convenience store operator.

Winifred Way Premier Store is prominently located in a traditional shopping parade in the coastal resort of Caister-on-Sea, which is three miles north of Great Yarmouth.

The store boasts a well-designed 800 sq ft sales area, which is fitted and equipped for the sale of general and convenience goods and is supported by a stockroom and office to the rear.

Melvyn Eke, who handled the sale, said: “During his nine years of ownership, Graham Barney developed strong customer loyalty and invested in quality fixtures and fittings. As a result, we received strong interest in the business, received multiple offers and agreed a deal just eight weeks after it was placed on the market. This sale demonstrates that a correctly-priced, high-quality convenience store will always be attractive to potential buyers.”
