Here are several more animals looking for their forever homes - there are fears for the wellbeing of some of them, with some having to wait a long time.

This week’s Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders’ featured Mercury pet is Duke.

Duke is a stunning blue boy with an endearing cheeky expression. He is super friendly and affectionate, he just loves to give everyone a cuddle. Still a youngster, Duke is full of energy and is happy to go for nice long walks if you’re up for it. Duke would love to meet an equally active family who will include him in fun days out.

For more information, or to meet Duke, contact Homefinding co-ordinator Corinne Douglas, on Homefinders’ local rate call number, 0845 458 3797.

The RSPCA East Norfolk branch is bursting at the seams and would like to find loving homes for these animals currently in their care to make space for others that need our help.

Bazaar is a lovely big cat, he is super sleek and handsome and is a very strong cat. He would love to have a large garden or lots of space to explore after he has settled in. He wouldn’t even mind living in some outbuildings or stables as long as he was fed regularly and had somewhere snuggly to sleep.

Bunny is a timid little tabby cat, she doesn’t like to really go outside so may be happiest living indoors. It would be lovely if she had a nice garden to perhaps venture in to when she is more confident. She would like to have company around during the day and she is between 4 to 6 years of age.

Ocean is amazed she hasn’t been picked yet! She is a super friendly cat who loves lots of fuss. She has brought up her beautiful babies and they have now found new homes so she is looking for some “me” time!

Mouse desperately needs to be in a new home. She came to us when her owner could no longer care for her but she isn’t happy in the cattery. We feel she is pining for company so hope she gets chosen soon. She is about 2-3 years old and a sweet girl who needs a nice quiet home with someone around for most of the day.

Boots is a character, she is a lovely looking cat and has previously lived as an indoor cat. She can be a bit of a Diva at times but can be lovely as well. She would need a nice quiet adult home where she can do her own thing and a garden where she could sit out in the sun may make her a whole lot happier. She has been with us sometime now and we need to place her in a home soon for her own well being.

All of the animals are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, up to date with flea and worming and health checked by a vet. Please call the adoption line on 07867 972870 or visit the website for more information www.rspcaeastnorfolk.co.uk

There is a small adoption fee of just £50 for cats and kittens, dogs are on application. This in no way covers the costs to the branch but just helps them continue their work.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Animal Trust has four dogs who would be good pets

Washington is a one year old male Boxer cross Staffie. She is full of life as you would expect from a year old. She seems okay with other dogs. Very friendly, she loves people and he would be too much with a very young family. She needs to be in a family with older children due to the fact he’s still at the jumping up stage. Will make a good companion with an energetic family.

Buddy is a 15 month old Lurcher. She seems okay with other dogs. He needs to be in a household where he’s not left and a household that has lots of energy. An older family would be more suited as he’s still young. A very friendly, happy dog.

Poppy, a year old Collie and Staffie, is good with other dogs and good recall on recall. A reserved/shy dog she needs to be in a household where she’s not left. An ideal companion.

Texas is a friendly dog who loves a fuss. The 16 month old Staffie loves playing with a ball and is good on the lead. He would make an ideal pet.

All the animals are vaccinated, chipped and neutered.
