Canaries drop in on James Paget’s young patients

STARSTRUCK: Youngsters on the Children’s Ward at James Paget University Hospital met two of their Norwich City heroes this week. Canaries’ stars Simon Lappin and Simeon Jackson visited the Trust to chat, sign autographs and hand out goody bags to youngsters who are receiving medical treatment, care and support.

Play specialist Marie Cross said: “The visit really brightened up the day for the youngsters – it lifted their spirits, took their minds off their illness and will help their recovery. As ever, we are very grateful to Norwich City Football Club for their generous support and to the players for taking the time to come and visit the children here.” The children were delighted by the presentation of computer games which had been funded by the City squad.The Children’s Ward offers treatment, care and support for youngsters with a variety of conditions.
