Cannabis charge pair in court

A MAN and women are to appear at crown court charged with growing 1,345 cannabis plants at two Great Yarmouth homes.

Vietnamese nationals Hung Dang, 48, and Dung Chi Nguyen, 45, are alleged to have produced cannabis at properties in St George's Road and Anson Road.

Vietnamese nationals Hung Dang, 48, and Dung Chi Nguyen, 45, are alleged to have produced cannabis at properties in St George's Road and Anson Road.

On Monday, Yarmouth magistrates remanded Hung Dang, of no fixed address, and Dung Chi Nguyen, of Walpole Road, London, into custody until April 15 for a committal hearing to Norwich Crown Court, where they will enter their pleas.

The charges relate to a police raids on Tuesday, March 12 in which the plants and hydroponic growing equipment were found at the two addresses.
