THIRTY cannabis plants and hydroponic lighting were seized at a Rollesby address today.The plants were being grown in upstairs bedrooms with blacked out windows in Main Road and a man and a woman, both aged 39, have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
THIRTY cannabis plants and hydroponic lighting were seized at a Rollesby address today.
The plants were being grown in upstairs bedrooms with blacked out windows in Main Road and a man and a woman, both aged 39, have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
They are currently being interviewed at Great Yarmouth Police Station.
This latest seizure marks the fourth operation carried out by the team in the last nine months with a total of 77 cannabis plants being recovered.
Sgt Andy Brown said: “This and the other seizures stress the importance of community based intelligence and I would urge any members of the public who suspect people committing similar type offences to come forward and offer information in confidence.”
