A woman was taken to hospital last night after the car she was driving crashed into a garden fence.

Emergency services including two fire crews from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston rushed to the scene in Beccles Road at around 11.05pm.

They used specialist equipment to free the woman who was trapped in the vehicle.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the woman was taken to hospital with a suspected shoulder injury.
