THE rear window of a convertible Volkswagen Golf was stolen in Belton after thieves cut open the hood of the car.

The theft took place in Rosedale Gardens, Belton, sometime between 9.45pm on Sunday, 28 November and 11am on Monday, 29 November.

The car was parked on a residential parking area. Due to the age of the vehicle such windows are quite rare and sought after.
