A trio of events marking Carers Week last week involved all the groups in the Great Yarmouth area run by the Carers Forum.

On Tuesday carers tried their hands at sailing at Oulton Broad with Waveney Sailability, on Wednesday there was a combined outing to Pensthorpe and on Thursday there was an information bus in Market Place, Yarmouth, offering information and advice to carers.

The outing to Pensthorpe near Fakenham was for all the carers groups and included lunch and a look around.

The BBC were still filming Spring Watch there, adding some extra interest. Most people managed the walks closer to the centre and some went on the tractor tour.

On Thursday all the local organisations that support carers joined forces to offer information and advice from a bus loaned for free by Centre 81. Although the rain forced an early finish a lot of information was handed out.
