Carnival fun

A TWO day spectacular has been planned for Martham village green this weekend when the village holds its annual carnival.

The entertainments will start tomorrow at 11am when host MC Barrie Thornton introduces the fun attractions, including a Glamorous Grandmother competition, and magic show.

The entertainments will start tomorrow at 11am when host MC Barrie Thornton introduces the fun attractions, including a Glamorous Grandmother competition, and magic show.

A display has also been planned involving the 901 Winterton Marine Cadet Band at 3.30pm, while in the evening there will be live music from Catch 22.

On Sunday there will be a procession leaving Marlborough Green Crescent at 1.30pm, followed by a Tug-of-War competition on the Green, donkey rides and a performance by the Janet Sutherland School of Dance at 4.25pm.
