Cash and cards stolen from car

POLICE in Gorleston are appealing for witnesses following the theft from a car at Clarkes Road on Friday.

A handbag containing cards and a small amount of cash was stolen from the passenger seat of an unlocked Ford Ka parked on the roadside at about 9.30pm.

Police are reminding motorists to ensure vehicles are left locked and secure and to remove valuables from inside the car. Anyone with information about the theft should contact PC Sarah Palmer at Gorleston Police Station on 0845 456 4567 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
