A CASH pot of £10,000 is available for community projects on three Gorleston estates.

The money is being distributed by the Magdalen, Shrublands and Elmhurst Court Neighbourhood Management Board and has been provided by Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

Local people have to be involved with deciding how the funds are spent, with grants of around £1,000 available for individual projects.

A list of projects suggested, application forms and guidelines for filling out forms are available by emailing jwoods@great-yarmouth.co.uk or call Julie Woods on 07825724481.

Funding ideas can be discussed at an information session on Thursday at Shrublands Youth and Adult Centre from 3 to 7pm.
